I am once again allowing anonymous posting of comments in conjunction with the Akismet spam plugin for wordpress. Hopefully this strikes a nice balance between making the site accessible to users and preventing spam.

In the quest for nicer formatting of code, I installed the semGeSHiCodeFix wordpress plugin. Blocks of code should now look like this:

while true; do { $SOMETHING }

Well, I knew it would happen pretty quickly and it did. Comment spam has started flooding in so I’m now requiring users to register before they can post comments.

I hate to add barriers to communication but until I find a better way to prevent spam this is the way it must be. Sorry :-(

Well here it is. I’ve finally converted to the dark side.
