Bacula 2.4.4 for Mac OS X

Another update to the bacula client and bconsole for Mac OS X. This should install and run properly on (at least) Mac OS X 10.4 and 10.5 for both Intel and PowerPC. Upgrades from old versions are handled in an intelligent fashion as well.

    Enjoy!

      Michael,

As far as I am personally concerned, you can do whatever you like with it :)

      Hi

      Thanks for this client!
Did u try to build bacula 3.0.0 ?

      Ulrich

I actually wasnt even aware that 3.0 had been released… I’ll see if I can make some time to put together a 3.0 package.

      Thanks!

Care to publish your build notes? I tried building a universal binary, but ended up scrapping it and making separate ppc and i386 binaries and joining them with lipo. But I had issues trying to target 10.4, so I have a Leopard only build. I’d be interested in how you’ve produced these, and I look forward to (hopefully) a 3.0.0 release.

Sadly, I am doing exactly what you are. I simply have the luxury of access to both 10.4 and 10.5 versions of Mac OS X as well as PPC and Intel architectures.

I plan on doing a 3.0.0 build very soon now. I was out of town for an extended period and just got back yesterday.

      Thanks!
